Come explore clay in

a no pressure space

with other adults

Hi, I’m Ess.

I’m a white settler queer living on unceded lək̓ʷəŋən territory in “Victoria” BC. I’m a tattoo artist and ceramicist! I love facilitating folks being silly and feeling a sense of belonging.

Connecting community through Making Mud!

Making friends and meaningful connections can be hard as an adult and Making Mud is a welcoming gentle space that we can share an experience together- there are no expectations and no pressure to make anything specific. We provide guidance and knowledge about how clay likes to move, be joined together and the roots of ceramics.

Making Mud is also accepting “instructors” in that we want to support clay artists of all backgrounds to guide our group sessions! If you already have clay experience and would like to lead a group, please reach out :)
